Okay, so picture this: last week, I’m at the supermarket, trying to remember if it’s *baking powder* or *baking soda* for the cookies I promised to bring to my sister's birthday… (Seriously, why do they have to be so similar? Anyone else struggle with this monumental decision every single time?). Anyway, I’m racking my brain, muttering ingredient names to myself, when suddenly I burst out laughing. Why? Because I remembered the year I tried to make her a cake and, well, let’s just say it resembled more of a rock formation than something edible. Good times. Good…burnt times.
